RING THE BELLS WITH SPIRIT!

Last night I sat down to watercolor ater all the kids were in bed as usual. I just let my mind wander with my brush over the paper and  in contrast with yesterday’s drawing totally based on life, this one was entirely from my imagination and memories. I got quite far actually when the littlest one who is usually remarkably good at settling down for a two month old, started feeling restless and fidgety. Pretty soon it was going on 11:30 pm the night before I needed to be up with the kids by 8 am at the latest. So I finished today.

GOOSE WITH BOWS

I’m tired again because I really got into the zone with this one and then two hours later and it’s midnight!

AS SWEET AS A SUGARPLUM as graceful as a bird

My daughter is a good little dancer. This doesn’t exactly look like her but his is based off a photo of her at her first recital where she caught a bad cold. Now everyone has the cold and we are all home. That is the main reason I didn’t post or paint yesterday. I was too tired.

Christmas is Adventing

I mostly imagined/remembered for this one but I took my daughter’s toy donkey from her shoe by the hearth. It’s waiting there for St Nicholas! Don’t worry, I put it back! Lol!

SNOWMAN IN A SHOWGLOBE

The kids are sick with either a bad cold or a mild flu. So I’m behind a day, but that’s okay.

Some of this drawing was from my imagination, some from my own photo reference. Just for future reference, almost all if not all of my photo reference is from my own photos.

Pardon My Rising Religiosity but…

This is the leaf displayer updated for winter. I took the clothes pins off and got the most part balanced fraudulent candles on the top of the beech tree branch and against the wall. One needed a little masking tape because of where it was on the stick. I used outdoorsy twine to hang it.
