A Native Iris

MAY30001

Last Fall I spent days with the push mower mulching up the leaves from five oaks and a bunch of other trees. The poor baby played outside while I did. She had to stay the perfect distance away but still close enough to be watched. I’m so thankful she was so angelic about it! Now she hates the mower so much I cannot even go in the garage without her getting anxious. So we play in the yard which is now full of clover and so many varieties of flowers. Who could love a boring grass lawn? Why control things so much? The best thing about yardwork is that you just kind of get things started and then nature gives surprise presents.
